Why?

Citizens Community Bank’s digital application requests access to information on your device such as cookies, location, camera, contacts, or other features you are enrolled in to enhance and simplify your own online banking experience and improve our services, as well as providing additional security to protect your account.

It is important for you to understand that:

  • Before allowing access to this information, you will be prompted to give the application that permission.
  • If you do not wish to allow access to this information, you may decline.
  • If you change your mind later, access to those features can be updated in your device’s settings.

What?

Some examples of information your app will request access to are:

Location:

  • Your location is used to prevent fraudulent activity and to display CCB ATM locations near you.

Contacts/Contact Lists:

  • By opting to allow access to the contact list stored on your device you may add contacts for use with features that allow you to send money via your digital banking app.
  • We will only add the contacts you select and that information will not be shared outside of Citizens Community Bank.

Camera/Images:

  • The digital banking app uses your camera to capture check images, take pictures of receipts, and scan authorized QR codes.
  • Images you selected from your device’s photo library can be uploaded to provide documentation of check images, receipts, and/or other image artifacts required as detailed in your account’s terms and conditions.

How?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

The digital banking application information is retained in accordance with state and federal record retention laws. Please contact us to determine specific time frames for your personal stored information and if that information may be deleted.
